Win­ter Warmer Week­end: Jan. 13and 14, from 12to 5p. m. at Pin­na­cle Ridge Win­ery, 407Old U. S. 22, Kutztown. Spend an af­ter­noon in cozy Wine Loft, with soup and wine. Chef Tim from Trè Lo­cally Sourced of Le­high Val­ley, con­cocted his very own recipe for Moroc­can lentil stew, us­ing or­ganic, lo­cally- sourced lentils and other veg­eta­bles as well as a va­ri­ety of warm­ing spices. We will dis­cuss and take a look at types of snow­shoes, as well as trekking poles, footwear, and cloth­ing that will keep you com­fort­able when par­tic­i­pat­ing in this fun- filled ac­tiv­ity. Af­ter our in­door ses­sion, we will re­lo­cate to the Kernsville Dam Re­cre­ation Area to put our newly learned skills to use. If there is no snow we will go for a short hike.
