An­nual Con­gre­ga­tional Meet­ing of St. John’s is Jan. 28 fol­low­ing the 10: 15 a. m. Wor­ship Ser­vice. The 2018 Bud­get and Elec­tion of Coun­cil Mem­bers will be on the agenda. Meal will be served by our Boy Scouts.

The Ten Com­mand­ments Cat­e­chism Re­treat for youth be­ing held at Bear Creek Camp for youth in grades 6- 12 April 6 to 8. Cost is $ 90 ($ 20 de­posit is due PAST DUE.) Adult Re­treat is also April 6 to 8 at Bear Creek Camp. Cost is $ 90. Space is lim­ited. See Ly­dia for reg­is­tra­tion in­for­ma­tion.

We will be start­ing a Din­ner for 8 Group, an op­por­tu­nity for fel­low­ship with oth­ers within the church around a meal in a home or restau­rant. We’ll also be us­ing it as a tool for out­reach. Ori­en­ta­tion and plan­ning meet­ing is Jan. 21 fol­low­ing our 10: 15 wor­ship ser­vice.

Bear Creek Win­ter Camp: Jan. 12- 14 ( Grades 7- 12), Jan. 26- 28 ( Grades 4- 8), Cost $ 115. We will talk about some of the big top­ics where our ac­tions do not nec­es­sar­ily match our be­liefs and fig­ure out some ways to en­cour­age de­spite strug­gles. Plus sled­ding to wor­ship to games.

Win­ter Jam: Jan. 18, 7 p. m. Con­cert at Sov­er­eign Cen­ter, $ 15. Even­ing of live con­certs by the top artists in Chris­tian mu­sic like Skil­let and Kari Jobe. Youth group will meet at the church at 4 p. m. to ar­rive early as lines are long. Per­mis­sion slips re­quired. Ap­proved driv­ers needed. Par­ents and oth­ers can at­tend.

Cane or Walker: If any­one has an ad­justable cane or a walker that they are not us­ing and would like to do­nate to the church, please see Don Ha­gen­berger.

Bi­cy­cles: The church has two small used girls bi­cy­cles that they would like to give away. They are items that did not sell at the bazaar and flea mar­ket. It would be on a first come, first served ba­sis. To see them see Doug Adams or call him at 60- 562- 8732.

Bi­ble Study: Pas­tor Jensen is of­fer­ing a weekly Bi­ble Study on the up­com­ing read­ings and Gospel on Wed­nes­days at 9: 30. Free and open to the pub­lic.
