Sun­day April 15, we wor­ship at 10:15 a.m. with the Third Sun­day of Easter. Chil­dren will take a noisy of­fer­ing to help an or­ga­ni­za­tion or per­son in need.

A Flea Mar­ket, Soup and Bake Sale is Fri­day, April 20, 4-8pm and Satur­day, April 21, 8am to 1pm. Hot chicken sand­wiches Fri­day and egg sand­wiches Satur­day. Home made baked pies and baked goods.

First Re­formed Church


Sun­day Wor­ship Ser­vice, led by Rev. Dar­ryl Hamm, starts at 10:15 a.m. and Sun­day School will be­gin at 9 a.m. Con­fir­ma­tion class meets at 8 a.m.

Bi­ble Study is held on Mon­day morn­ings at 9 a.m. and Thurs­days at 6:30 p.m.

Se­nior Choir meets Wed­nes­days at 6:30 p.m.

We have youth pro­grams for tod­dlers to high school se­niors. God Squad is for those in grades six through 12. Noah’s Help­ing Hands is our group for tod­dlers to fifth graders. They both meet at var­i­ous times and lo­ca­tions. Check our web­site at ham­ for more in­for­ma­tion.

Our ladies group, Fri­day Fe­male Fol­lies, will hold a self-de­fense pro­gram April 13 at 6:30 - $20 per per­son for 2 to 2 ½ hours.

April 14 at 9 a.m. we will work to­gether for our Spring Clean-out and or­ga­ni­za­tion day.

May 4 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. we will host our “May the Fourth Be With You” fam­ily game night with a Star Wars theme.

Salem EC Church


Our Wor­ship Ser­vice was held at 9 am, fol­lowed by Sun­day School for all ages at 10:30 am. Pas­tor Dave Long pre­sented a thought­pro­vok­ing mes­sage based on Scrip­ture. Our greeters were Bob and Shelva Schaner. Our nursery at­ten­dant was Sarah Krick. Ju­nior church lead­ers were Ni­co­lette Hoover and Dawn Lutz.

Archery is the theme for this year’s Sports­men’s Ban­quet at Salem Church, Lenhartsville, on Satur­day, April 21. Com­pet­i­tive archer Zena Ross will be fea­tured speaker at the sixth an­nual event. Doors to the ban­quet will open at 5 p.m. on April 21. At the time, at­ten­dees are wel­come to try archery for them­selves. The church’s gym has an in­door archery range, in­clud­ing tar­gets, com­pound bows and all other el­e­ments needed to shoot com­pet­i­tive-style in a safe set­ting. Ad­vance pur­chase of meal tick­ets is re­quired. Those 3 and un­der can eat free. To re­serve tick­ets to the 6th An­nual Sports­men’s Ban­quet, please con­tact the church of­fice by April 15.
