■ Worship for the 19th Sunday after Pentecost will be held Sunday at 9 a.m. at Lattimer United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Earl Roberts will talk about “The honor of your presences is requested.” T here will also be a time with young disciples.
Non-perishable food items will be received for the United Charities Food Pantry. Clothing for infants to teens will be collected for the Children’s Closet, located at Our Lady of Grace Church.
The Lattimer church will meet with a cluster of other United Methodist churches in the area for the annual Charge Conference at 1 p.m. Sunday at Conyngham United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dr. Irving Cotto, superintendent of the North District of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church, will p reside. All are w elcome.
Donations can be made for hurricane disaster relief through the United Methodist Committee on Relief. One hundred percent of donations go to the relief effort.
