■ The Free­land Amer­i­can Le­gion Home As­so­ci­a­tion will meet Thurs­day at 7 p.m. at the post home.

Of­fi­cers will meet at 6:15 p.m. All reg­u­lar mem­bers are in­vited to at­tend.

■ The High­land Club will host its an­nual Christ­mas pool shootout for Toys for Tots on Satur­day at noon.

Mem­bers and mem­bers’ guests may reg­is­ter at the club up to the day of the event.

Any or­ga­ni­za­tion or in­di­vid­u­als who would like to spon­sor at ricky tray or make a do­na­tion of a toy or food can do so at the club dur­ing reg­u­lar busi­ness hours.

■ Free­land Mu­nic­i­pal Wa­ter & Sewer Au­thor­ity will hold its reg­u­lar meet­ing today at 6 p.m. in the con­fer­ence room at the au­thor­ity of­fice, 711 Birk­beck St.

■ The Free­land Neigh­bor­hood Crime Watch will meet today at 7 p.m. at the Free­land Com­mu­nity Am­bu­lance build­ing, 417 John­son St., Free­land.

■New step aer­o­bics classes are be­ing held at the Free­land YMCA.

Step­ping is com­bined with strength­en­ing and ton­ing ex­er­cises for a com­plete body work­out.

Be­gin­ners are wel­come. Classes are held Tues­days and Thurs­days from 6 to 7 p.m.

T he eight-week ses­sion be­gan. For new par­tic­i­pants, the first class is free. To reg­is­ter, call Rose Fox at 570-6362706.

■ Any mem­ber of the Free­land Sons of Erin who has not re­ceived hol­i­day cash tick­ets can con­tact Bear Bro­gan, pres­i­dent.

Tick­ets must be re­turned by the Dec .1 meet­ing or be­fore. The meet­ing will be a din­ner meet­ing at 6 p.m. at the Surf Club.
