Frederick H. Fracke, 79, of Sug ar­loaf Twp. passed away Satur­day morn­ing at Moun­tain City Nurs­ing and Re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion Cen­ter, Ha­zle Twp. Born in Philadel­phia on March 13, 1938, he was the son of the late Herman and Mary( Bar row) Fracke and spent the past 47 years in Sugar loaf Twp. af­ter mov­ing from Sum­ney­town.

Fred had served with the Air Na­tional Guard.

He was the pro­pri­etor of Sugar loaf Moun­tain Log Homes from 1977 un­til his re­tire­ment in 2007.

He en­joyed wood­work­ing and work­ing on his mo­tor­cy­cles.

Sur­viv­ing are his wife of the past 56 years, the for­mer Suzanne Bros man; two daugh­ters, Rochelle White and her hus­band, Paul, Jim Thorpe; and Ad elle Stott and her hus­band, Michael, Roanoke, Ind.; three grand­chil­dren, Christo­pher, Sara and Kait­lynn; and sev­eral nieces and neph­ews.

His fu­neral will be held Satur­day at 2 p.m. with a memo­rial ser­vice at Har­man Fu­neral Homes and Cre­ma­tory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen.

Friends may call Satur­day from 1 p.m. un­til the time of the ser­vices at the fu­neral home.
