Patrol finds man with drugs
Summit Hill police say they found a Nesquehoning man with drugs while on patrol July 3.
Charges for possession of marijuana and use or possession of drug paraphernalia were filed against Colby Newton, 18, on July 18 and issued via summons, which he accepted Thursday.
Police said they spotted a car with its doors wide open and two youths hanging out of the car on their backs next to Ginther Field at 10:15 p.m.
Newton was the driver and told police there was marijuana in the vehicle and an officer seized 8.6 grams of the drug and paraphernalia in his backpack, arrest papers state.
