oise State looked for its fourth straight vic­tory late Satur­day night and tried to keep BYU win­less on the Blue in a big game at Al­bert­sons Sta­dium.

The Bron­cos en­tered hav­ing won two straight in the se­ries with the Cougars, push­ing their record to 6-2 over­all against the team from Provo, Utah. And even though BYU has never won in Boise, three of its losses here were by a sin­gle point.
