Estate Treasures fashion show set for Oct. 16
GRASONVILLE — Monday, Oct. 16, is the date for the 26th annual Estate Treasures Fashion Show. Proceeds from the Fashion Show will benefit hospice care and grief support offered through Compass Regional Hospice.
Doors open at 10:30 a.m. at Prospect Bay Country Club in Grasonville. Guests will enjoy a cash bar and shopping at the upscale boutique, which will feature women’s clothing and fashion accessories sold at Estate Treasures.
“We are very fortunate to have received many exquisite fashions, including furs and fine jewelry pieces, that will be featured at the boutique and modeled in this year’s show,” said Estate Treasures volunteer Debbie Dean.
A sit-down lunch will be served at noon. Following lunch, Estate Treasures volunteers and Compass Regional Hospice staff will model fashions inspired by classic French designers, which will reflect the Fashion Show’s French theme: “Oui-Oui E.T.”
Other fun planned for fashion show guests will include bidding on silent and live auctions items, as well as browsing the bake sale, where guests will find homemade baked goods.
The winner of the Estate Treasures crab feast raffle also will be chosen during the Fashion Show. The winner need not be present to win.
The crab feast will include two bushels of steamed crabs, two gallons of homemade crab soup, a bushel of fresh corn on the cob and tomatoes, four cases of beer, 40 pieces of fried chicken and two 2.5-gallon tubs of Rita’s Italian Ice.
Raffle tickets are $10 each or three for $25. Crab feast raffle tickets can be purchased at Estate Treasures or Compass Regional Hospice.
Tickets for the Estate Treasures Fashion Show are $40 per person. Space is limited and reservations are required. To purchase tickets or to reserve space for a group, contact Kenda Leager at Compass Regional Hospice at 443-262-4106 or kleager@ compassregional hospice.org.
