CH­ESTER — Ben­jamin Phillip McPher­son of Ch­ester, MD, passed away on Sept. 28, 2017. He was 26.

Born of Oct. 10, 1990, in An­napo­lis, MD, the son of Tim McPher­son and Dansi John­son. He moved to Kent Is­land in Jan­uary 1991 and at­tended Queen Anne’s County schools, grad­u­at­ing from QA County in 2008.

Ben was em­ployed at An­napo­lis Yacht Sales in Ch­ester, MD. He took great pride in de­tail­ing cars, boats, and mo­tor­cy­cles. Ben’s most pre­cious mem­o­ries were play­ing with his nieces and neph­ews.

He is sur­vived by his fa­ther, Tim McPher­son, of Ch­ester, MD; grand­par­ents: Mar­sha and Lee Bolling; John Com­egys; un­cle, Tom McPher­son; aunt, Tina McPher­son Werner; four broth­ers: Mike Bryan; Wil­liam Pierce; Jeremy and Ja­son John­son; two cousins: Sarah and Am­ber McPher­son; four nieces: Adri­anna and Layla Pierce; Matilda Bryan; Lex­ley Greene; three neph­ews: Wil­liam Pierce II; Damien and Felix Pierce. He was pre­de­ceased by his mom, Dansi John­son in 2005; and his step mom, Ch­eryl McPher­son on July 30, 2017. Ben had many great friends be­cause of his car­ing per­son­al­ity.

A Cel­e­bra­tion of Life will be held on Oc­to­ber 7, 3 p.m., at the Kent Is­land Amer­i­can Le­gion, Post 278 in Stevensville, MD.
