Kent Is­land’s head lacrosse coach Robert Wool­ley, now in his 12th year

be­ing part of the school’s lacrosse pro­gram (his first year as head coach), said he’s not sur­prised Euker rec­og­nizes the men­tal tough­ness of the Kent Is­land play­ers.

“I think it comes from our year-round train­ing pro­gram that each of the play­ers com­mit them­selves to,” Wool­ley said. “They in­di­vid­u­ally train on their own in the off-sea­son.”

Wool­ley also pointed to Kent Is­land play­ers who have also gone on the play at Tow­son, Univer­sity of Mary­land-Baltimore County and the Naval Academy, who all also have ex­cel­lent lacrosse pro­grams.
