MSP seeks help to iden­tify sus­pect

GRA­SONVILLE — Mary­land State Po­lice are ask­ing the pub­lic for help iden­ti­fy­ing a sus­pect who robbed a 7-Eleven in Gra­sonville late Sun­day night, April 7.

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice, troop­ers from the Mary­land State Po­lice Cen­tre­ville Bar­racks re­sponded to the con­ve­nience store, lo­cated at 110 Pull­man Cross­ing Road, for a re­port of armed rob­bery just be­fore mid­night.

Sur­veil­lance video showed the sus­pect, wear­ing a black hooded sweat­shirt and gloves, gray pants, black ten­nis shoes, sun­glasses and dark cloth cov­er­ing his face, en­tered the store and showed what ap­peared to be a black hand­gun, ac­cord­ing to po­lice.

The rob­ber de­manded the em­ployee give him cash from the reg­is­ter and the em­ployee com­plied, po­lice said. The sus­pect then fled the store.
