FriendFest: There are two ses­sions: 3-6 p.m. and 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Beltzner Hall at the Kutz­town Fair­grounds, 450 Wentz Street, Kutz­town. FriendFest is an an­nual ben­e­fit beer or wine fes­ti­val fea­tur­ing live music, de­li­cious food, and var­i­ous ven­dors, with all pro­ceeds go­ing to help fund the Op­ti­mist Club of Kutz­town’s chil­dren’s pro­grams in Lo­cal Com­mu­ni­ties, as well as a do­na­tion to as­sist Friend, Inc. end poverty in ru­ral North­east­ern Berks County. Lo­cal brew­eries and winer­ies in Penn­syl­va­nia and along the east coast will show­case their prod­ucts to hun­dreds of at­ten­dees. All guests must be at least 21 years of age or older, and each ticket al­lows en­trance into one of the ses­sions, un­lim­ited wine and beer tast­ing, and a sou­venir glass. Buy your tick­ets ahead of time or at the door. Des­ig­nated Driver tick­ets are avail­able.
