‘Evolve Her’ work­shop for women en­trepreneurs held Sept. 21

Berks/Schuylkill and Le­high Val­ley SCORE chap­ters and The Penn­syl­va­nia Com­mu­nity De­vel­op­ment and Fi­nance Corp. (PCDfc) will present to Berks and sur­round­ing com­mu­ni­ties a full day work­shop for women-owned busi­nesses called “Evolve Her.”

“Evolve Her” is a work­shop de­signed for Women en­trepreneurs in Berks County, Le­high County and sur­round­ing com­mu­ni­ties. Small Busi­ness womenown­ers will be given the op­por­tu­nity to net­work with other women en­trepreneurs and gain knowl­edge through oth­ers ex­pe­ri­ences.

The work­shop will be held on Thurs­day, Sept. 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Folino Es­tate Vine­yard & Win­ery, 340 Old Route 22, Kutz­town.

The work­shop will of­fer ed­u­ca­tional ses­sions and net­work­ing with other growth-ori­ented and in­no­va­tive women en­trepreneurs from across the re­gion. Ses­sions will cover such top­ics as “Grow­ing Your Small Busi­ness-Har­vest Some New Ideas” and “Who Runs the World? Dig­i­tally Savvy Women En­trepreneurs.” Roundtable dis­cus­sions have been in­cor­po­rated into the agenda with a fo­cus on small busi­ness fi­nanc­ing, health care, so­cial me­dia, and more. Reg­is­tra­tion is re­quired, and a fee of $40 in­cludes break­fast and lunch. Net­work­ing will fol­low im­me­di­ately af­ter the work­shop.
