Shenan­doah Val­ley blanks Kutz­town

KUTZ­TOWN 0 » The Cougars fell to 0-2 on Sept. 8 in a non-league de­feat at Shenan­doah Val­ley.

Shenan­doah Val­ley ran out to a 24-0 half­time lead while lead­ing rusher Zach Link ran for 114 yards and four touch­downs.

For Kutz­town, quar­ter­back Char­lie Mad­docks went 11-for-31 for 112 yards pass­ing and ran 10 times for 46 yards, a team-high.

Caleb Riegel had nine car­ries for 39 yards and Drew Miller had six car­ries for 18 yards.

Re­ceiver Owen Mad­docks caught five passes for 37 yards. Tyler Fisher and Bradlee Ben­jamin each had two re­cep­tions. The 0-2 Cougars host Pe­quea Val­ley on Sept. 15.

WYOMISSING 19.5, KUTZ­TOWN 4.5 » The Wyomissing boys golf team de­feated Kutz­town on Septem­ber 7th. Nathan Hay­duk had a match low 48 even par for Kutz­town, de­feat­ing Wyomissing’s Kristy Bell.
