Shelby resident questions Rideout
There appears to be acceptance of certain actions, discontentment with others. The Rev. W.J. Rideout, that staunch supporter of fairness and equality, is more concerned about what a person thinks, or says.
Actions mean nothing to him, especially in his own back yard. Rideout wants Shelby Township’s Chief of Police fired, all because of comments posted on social media. All the while he’s spouting off his very own neighborhood is being shot up, children wounded, people killed.
So an implied thought is more important than the act? The atmosphere today is one of distrust, all created by small minds. If “Black Lives Matter” why isn’t Rideout more concerned about what’s happening in his neighborhood, instead of ours? Ronald Navickas
