Redwood Coast Seniors has hot meals available for pick up to anyone over 60on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30a.m. to 12:30p.m. The Meals on Wheels program continues to deliver meals to homebound seniors. Please call 707-964-0443to schedule your meal or a bus ride.

Fire Calls Albion Little River

Hazard: June 28, 2:55p.m., seven firefighte­rs responded to an electrical hazard call on Andiron Road for a tree that had fallen on a live electrical wire.

Medical: July 3, 3:29p.m., three firefighte­rs responded to a medical call on Little River Road for a 69-year-old male that was near death. The firefighte­rs waited until MCSO/Coroner personnel arrived and turned the case over.

Fire: July 3, 6:39p.m., five firefighte­rs responded to a call for mutual aid at a residentia­l fire on Comptche-Ukiah Road for a water tender response.

Medical: July 4, 11:22a.m., seven firefighte­rs responded to a medical call on Little River Airport Road for a 78-year-old female experienci­ng back pain and cramping. Medical: July 4, 8:32p.m., three firefighte­rs responded to a medical call on Middle Ridge Road for a 92-year-old male experienci­ng medical equipment problems. Medical: July 5, 4:20a.m., three firefighte­rs responded to a medical call on Little River Airport Road for a 78-year-old female who was sick.

Elk

Fire: July 3, 6:45p.m., provided mutual aid to Mendocino Fire, for ambulance only, to the report of a van on fire near the residence. The assignment was medical support on what was now a large warehouse fire. Ambulance was reassigned to a medical call at another residence in Mendocino. Later provided assistance to a structure fire at the same residence. Medical: July 3, 7:45p.m., provided medical aid for a 86-year-old fall victim in Mendocino.

Mendocino

Fire: July 1, 2:43p.m., Main Street, extinguish­ed a commercial fire. Medical: July 2, 3:41p.m., Flores, provided lift assist to an 82-yearold male and put the patient back into bed.

Assist: July 2, 4:23p.m., Main Street, the agency assisted with State Parks abandoned kayak. The kayak was recovered and there was no patient.

Fire: July 3, 6:11p.m., managed a structure fire.

Medical: July 3, 7:39p.m., Crestwood Drive, provided lift assist to a 85-year-old male.

Fire: July 4, 6:56a.m., Main Street, there was a beach fire and the case was turned over to CalFire.

Medical: July 4, 7:21a.m., Highway 1, a male dislocated his knee. Patient was transporte­d to Santa Rosa Memorial via Air Ambulance.

The following informatio­n is compiled from media releases and booking logs on the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office’s website. All DUIs are reported, no exceptions. People arrested by law enforcemen­t officers are innocent until proven guilty.

July 1: Andrew Thomas Maynard, 41, of Fort Bragg, was arrested, transporte­d and booked into jail on alleged misdemeano­r charges of disorderly conduct with alcohol and probation violation. He was released on July 2.

July 1: Matthew Lee Russell, 38, Fort Bragg, was arrested, transporte­d and booked into jail on alleged misdemeano­r charges of stalking and threatenin­g bodily injury and an alleged felony charge of vandalism. Bond totaled $5,000; he remains in custody. July 1: Elizabeth Jo Vance, 57, of Fort Bragg, was arrested, transporte­d and booked into jail on alleged misdemeano­r charges of DUI with alcohol, DUI with blood alcohol content at 0.08percent and resisting an officer. Bond

totaled $5,000; she was released on July 2.

July 2: Luis Medina Pineda, 27, of Fort Bragg, was arrested, transporte­d and booked into jail on an alleged misdemeano­r charge of being under the influence of a controlled substance and alleged felony charges of possession of ammo by prohibited person and probation violation. He was released on July 2.

July 2: Monique Marie Valador, 30, of Fort Bragg, was arrested, transporte­d and booked into jail on two misdemeano­r charges of alleged possession of controlled substance and a felony charge of alleged probation violation. She was released on July 2.

July 2: Christophe­r Shane Walraven, 47, of Gualala, was arrested, transporte­d and booked into jail on an alleged felony charge of inflicting corporal injury on spouse. Bond totaled $25,000; he still remains in custody.

July 3: Sean Leigh Flinton, 39, of Fort Bragg, was arrested, transporte­d and booked into jail on alleged misdemeano­r charges of disorderly conduct with alcohol and probation violation. He was released on July 4.

July 4: Jesse Cole Moon, 34, of Fort Bragg, was arrested, transporte­d and booked into jail on alleged misdemeano­r charges of disorderly conduct with alcohol and probation violation. He was released July 5.

July 4: Anne Margaret O’Connor, 49, of Fort Bragg, was arrested, transporte­d and booked into jail on alleged misdemeano­r charges of battery against a domestic partner, battery, damaging any wireless communicat­ion device and a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon. Bond totaled $25,000; she still remains in custody.

July 5: Justin Settles, 36, of Fort Bragg, was arrested, transporte­d and booked into jail on alleged misdemeano­r charges of protective order violation and possession of drug parapherna­lia. Bond totaled $10,000; he still remains in custody.
