Natalie Portman plays Fania Oz, the Russian-born mother of acclaimed Israeli writer Amos Oz, in this drama Portman adapted from his memoir. Fania exerted a strong influence on Oz’s writing as an adult, though she died when he was just 14. The film marks Portman’s directorial debut. With Shira Haas, Ohad Knoller and Amir Tessler.
