After impeachment, much to do to unify

Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Castro Valley, lays out a strong case for impeachment (“The House, once again, must impeach President Trump,” Page A6, Jan. 12). Time is of the essence.

No matter what happens, the Democrats have an obligation to win over 74 million Trump loyalists that the new administration must help equally by controlling the pandemic that has devastated their communities and bringing back jobs through muchneeded infrastructure work. That will help to bring unity, economic justice, upward mobility, prosperity and minimize the rural and urban divide. This is the greatest challenge.
