Leonard L. Gerber, 86, of Lower Pottsgrove

Leonard L. Gerber, 86, of Lower Pottsgrove, husband of Martha (Kunkel) Gerber of 62 years, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Mount Carmel, he was the son of the late LeRoy and Helen (Hinkel) Gerber.

Leonard was a devout Life Member of the Ringing Hill Fire Company.

Surviving along with his wife is one daughter Karen Griesemer, wife of Casper of Upper Pottsgrove; two sons Elwood (Lee) Gerber, husband of Wendy of Nashville, TN, and Richard Gerber, husband of Connie of Stowe; three grandchildren Andrew and Alex Gerber, and Jamie Luft, husband of Jen; one greatgrandchild Dylan Luft, and one brother David Gerber, husband of Gail.

A funeral service will be held Monday, May 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. Visitation will be held Monday from 9:3010:45 AM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Leonard’s memory to Ringing Hill Fire Company, 815 White Pine Ln., Pottstown, PA 19464.
