Representatives from the Cluster Outreach Center and various Pottstown area congregations will participate once again in the annual CROP Walk for hunger on Sunday, Oct. 14. CROP Hunger Walks help end hunger by raising funds to support local food programs and the international anti-hunger work of Church World Service. Last year, there were 900 walks and $9 million was raised by 107,000 walkers.

Sunday’s walk will leave from First Presbyterian Church, 750 N. Evans St.. at 2 p.m. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m., and walkins are accepted. Twentyfive percent of all the money raised by walkers goes directly to the Cluster and 75 percent goes to fight hunger around the world through Church World Service.
