Jonathan S. Fink, 96, of Pottstown, wid­ower of Martha S. (Sam­sel) Fink, passed away on Wed­nes­day at Sanatoga Cen­ter.

Born in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of the late E. Frank Fink and the late Min­nie E. (Sher­man) Mintzer.

He was a 1940 grad­u­ate of Pottstown High School.

Jonathan worked as an elec­tri­cal en­gi­neer for San­ders & Thomas for 40 years, re­tir­ing in 1980. Prior to that, he worked in the draft­ing de­part­ment at Beth­le­hem Steel.

He served in the Navy dur­ing World War II.

Jonathan was a mem­ber of St. James Lutheran Church, Pottstown, the Pottstown Ki­wa­nis, Chest-Mont Ju­bi­lar­ies, Sanatoga Post #224 Amer­i­can Le­gion, served on the Potts­grove School Board, and was ac­tive in the boy scouts.

He is sur­vived by a son, Robert J. Fink and his wife Carol, North Wales; four grand­chil­dren, and three great grand­chil­dren. He was pre­de­ceased by a daugh­ter, Janet L. Rogers, a sis­ter Mary Rice, and one great grand­child.

A memo­rial ser­vice will be held 11:00 A.M. on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 17, 2018, at St. James Lutheran Church, 1101 E. High St., Pottstown. Of­fi­ci­at­ing will be Rev­erend Kay Ben­der Braun. Burial will be in High­land Memo­rial Park.
