Forever My Heart gala benefits animal charities
MIDDLETOWN » Forever My Heart, a formal fundraiser, will be held Sunday, Sept. 24, 3 to 8 p.m. at the Wadsworth Mansion, with live music, sumptuous dining, and amazing auction items all to benefit The Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation and the City of Middletown’s K-9 unit. Tickets are $75 per person.
Hosting the event is Mira Jewelry, whose pieces were featured gifts for attendees at this year’s Golden Globes and Academy Awards events in Los Angeles. Guest emcee for the event is Heidi Voight, multimedia journalist, and NBC Connecticut news anchor. Featured speakers include Marc Ching, founder of The Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation and Connecticut State Representative Diana Urban.
Proceeds will benefit the Middletown K9 unit, which is in a process of becoming a non-profit 501-c. The money will be used to cover expenses including bullet proof vests for the dogs and veterinary bills for the retired dogs.
Sponsorship and auction item proceeds will benefit The Animal Hope & Well-ness Foundation, and organization that saves dogs from the meat trade in Asia, rehabilitating them and finding the forever homes. Learn more at https:// animalhopeandwellness.org
