Driver killed in crash identified

An Allentown man has been identified as the person killed in a Nov. 9 crash in Bethlehem.

Edwin Perez-Gonzalez, 56, of the 800 block of Greenleaf Street in Allentown, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 11:15 a.m. crash in the 3100 block of Center Street, between Johnston Drive and Pine Top Trail, Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek said.

Perez-Gonzalez’s vehicle wentofftheroad into a utility pole. He had no passengers.

Lysek ruled the cause of death as blunt force trauma and the manner of death as accidental.
