Shameful tactics in political ads

The Morning Journal (Lorain, OH) - - OPINION -

I recall, when I was a child, distorted or grotesque photographs of Japanese, German and in some cases Italian soldiers, were published in newspapers and magazines to demonize them and to instill fear. Even comic books were filled with such illustrations. It worked. That was then. This is today. I am appalled by the attempt, by both political parties to use the same shameful tactics in their political ads today.

These ads are mean, dishonest, and just plain ridiculous.

They don’t instill fear in me. They insult me!

Candidates of either party who approve such ads on their behalf have nothing to be proud of.
