Jill Nor­gren is cor­rect that women could vote in some lo­cal­i­ties be­fore 1920, but it was not un­til rat­i­fi­ca­tion of the Nine­teenth Amend­ment to the Con­sti­tu­tion that women were granted the same right to vote as men through­out the coun­try.
