Outlook: offense

While there was uncertainty in who would start at QB with a three-way battle for the position all the way through camp, stability is already in place in the running game. RB Harrison Richardson is a battering ram and could be poised for a big campaign as a senior behind a solid offensive line that returns three starters. The onus will be on that line to produce for several reasons — a new QB, giving Richardson room to work and because of the types of defenses the Lions will see in the NCL Blue: Fast and not shy on blitzing. It’s a good-sized group, with 250-pound sophomore Aidan MacDonald getting a key task at LT.
