The 195th Great Geauga County Fair in Bur­ton Town­ship runs Aug. 31 through Sept. 4 at the Geauga County Fair­grounds, 14373 N Cheshire St. in Bur­ton. Gates open at 9 a.m. and close at mid­night. Ex­hibit halls and build­ings are open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and rides are open from noon to close. Gen­eral ad­mis­sion at the gate is $8. Chil­dren 12 and un­der are free. Credit cards are ac­cepted at Gates 1, 4 and 9. Hand stamps for re-ad­mis­sion to fair are only avail­able at time of en­trance. Park­ing is free. Aug. 31 is “Fun Day, Fair Day” where gen­eral ad­mis­sion is free un­til noon, and af­ter­noon tick­ets are only $5. Se­niors (65+) and vet­er­ans are ad­mit­ted free on Sept. 1 with proper iden­ti­fi­ca­tion. All-day ride bracelets are $15 Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, $20 Sept. 2 and 3, and $10 Sept. 4.
