Bronzel “Jim” Brewer, age 65, of Colum­bus, for­merly of Madi­son, passed away Au­gust 28, 2017.

He was born Sept. 26, 1951 in West ginia. He was a U.S. Army vet­eran. He had lived in Madi­son for 25 years be­fore mov­ing to Colum­bus.

Jim worked many years in the au­to­mo­tive in­dus­try as an au­to­mo­tive ser­vice writer, vice man­ager and sales­man for many fine Ohio auto pa­nies, along with the Amer­i­can Le­gion as an of­fi­cer and Le­gion­naire Rider, Post 490.

He is sur­vived by his chil­dren, Charles E. Brewer, Tracy E. Smith and David W. Brewer; grand­chil­dren, Daniel K. Brewer, Sylvia M. Brewer, Charles E. Brewer, Jr., Bran­don M. Smith and Ju­lia M. Brewer; and sev­eral nieces and neph­ews.

He was pre­ceded in death by his wife, San­dra V. (Wolfe) Brewer; and younger sis­ter, Brenda Guthridge.

Visi­ta­tion will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Satur­day, Sept. 2, 2017 at Cook & Son-Pal­lay Fu­neral Home, 1631 Parsons Ave., lum­bus, Ohio, where an Amer­i­can Le­gion Ser­vice and tary hon­ors will con­clude the af­ter­noon.
