Robert A. Suhadolnik

Mass of Christian Burial for Robert A. Suhadolnik, 78, of Mentor will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd. Mentor. Father Peter Morris will officiate. Family and friends are asked to please meet at church.

Robert passed away Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 with his family at his side after a long illness.

Born June 2, 1939 in Cleveland, he had been a Lake County resident for 55 years.

He was a member of St. John Vianney Church in Mentor, loved sports and joyed playing softball, basketball, ball and bowling. He also coached the sports.

Robert was a retired electrician and was a proud member of I.B.E.W. Local 38. Robert was the beloved husband of 56 years to Joyce A. (nee Mocarski) Suhadolnik; loving father of Jackie A. (Bill) Wayne, Don A. (Elizabeth) Suhadolnik, Kim A. (Tim) O’Hair and Dennis A. (Kari) Suhadolnik; cherished grandfather of 10; brother-in-law of Cindy Suhadolnik; and uncle of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Helen (nee Chilco) Suhadolnik; and brother, David P. Suhadolnik.

Family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Vianney Church prior to the Mass. Burial will be at Mentor Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in his name to the Lake Humane Society, 7564 Tyler Blvd., Mentor.
