Man charged with felony bur­glary, theft

A Painesville man is free on a per­sonal re­cog­ni­zance bond after be­ing ar­raigned Feb. 14 on bur­glary, drug and theft charges, ac­cord­ing to Painesville Mu­nic­i­pal Court records.

Ma­lik T. Rober­son, 20, of 215 E. Jack­son St., is charged with sec­ond­de­gree felony bur­glary, fourth-de­gree felony theft and mi­nor mis­de­meanor mar­i­juana pos­ses­sion, his ar­raign­ment pa­per­work con­firms.

If con­victed of the felony of­fenses alone, Rober­son could re­ceive up to 9 ½ years in prison.

He’s sched­uled to ap­pear for a pre­trial/pre­lim­i­nary hear­ing Feb. 26, his ar­raign­ment file states.
