Man faces rape, burglary charges
A 38-year-old Painesville resident arrested by police in Mentor in connection with a Feb. 12 incident faces felony rape and burglary charges in Mentor Municipal Court, records there show.
Kenyata T. Reid, of 69 W. Walnut St., is charged with first-degree felony rape and second-degree felony burglary.
If convicted of both counts, he could get up to 19 years behind bars.
Reid is being held on a $300,000/10 percent cash or surety bond and has a preliminary hearing scheduled Feb. 22, according to court documents.
