Gins­burg leaves hospi­tal, plans to keep work­ing

Supreme Court Jus­tice Ruth Bader Gins­burg was dis­charged from the hospi­tal Fri­day, a day after be­ing ad­mit­ted with three frac­tured ribs, a court spokes­woman said.

“She is do­ing well and plans to work from home to­day,” Kath­leen Ar­berg said in a state­ment.

Gins­burg, 85, was ad­mit­ted to Ge­orge Wash­ing­ton Univer­sity Hospi­tal early Thurs­day morn­ing. A state­ment from the court said Gins­burg had fallen in her of­fice Wed­nes­day but re­turned home. She went to the hospi­tal after “ex­pe­ri­enc­ing dis­com­fort overnight.” Tests showed that she frac­tured three ribs on her left side.
