Mark E. Cot­ton

Mark E. Cot­ton, of Pal­metto, Florida passed away on Oc­to­ber 27, 2018. Mark was born and raised in Redding, CT. He re­ceived his B.A. from Franklin and Mar­shall Col­lege in 1994 and re­ceived his M.B.A. from the Univer­sity of Delaware in 1996. He was the founder and Pres­i­dent of So­lu­tions 7, an IT con­sult­ing firm. For the past few years, Mark re­ally en­joyed coach­ing flag foot­ball for I-9 Sports of Sara­sota, FL, where he was an out­stand­ing and in­spi­ra­tional coach.

Mark is sur­vived by his children Ja­son and Luke Cot­ton, of Par­rish, Florida, and his former wife, Mon­ica Baldino Cot­ton. He is also sur­vived by his mother, Mary Ellen Gin­netti, fa­ther and step­mom James and An­drea Cot­ton, broth­ers James, Jr., Ben (Whit­ney), and Mathew (An­toni­etta) and nieces Pene­lope Cot­ton, Si­mone Cot­ton, and Lil­lian Cot­ton.

There will be a grave­side ser­vice at Sky­way Me­mo­rial Gar­dens, 5200 US High­way 19 North, Pal­metto, FL on Satur­day, Novem­ber 10th, at 1 p.m. with a re­cep­tion to fol­low. A sav­ings ac­count for Ja­son and Luke’s ed­u­ca­tional ex­penses is be­ing es­tab­lished.
