Use internet taxes to pay down debt

The Norwalk Hour - - OPINION -

Now that the U. S. Supreme Court has allowed states to collect taxes on internet sales to those individual states, politicians will be rushing to cash in on this new income stream. Well, Senator Duff, if you are really “standing up for us,” and Representative Bruce Morris, if you are really “for us,” then I call upon you to introduce legislation in both the Connecticut Senate and House to designate all of this new income to paying down the state debt.

No proposed projects, no new projects and no diversion for present programs — pay down our debt because it’s dragging us down (one of the reasons we’re #50 in livability).

And if you don’t, maybe we need a new party in charge in Hartford, like David Stemerman.
