NORWALK — A traffic stop turned into drug bust for a Norwalk man on Thursday night.

Police said Dimitry Louis, 26, was driving on Newtown Avenue around 9:30 p.m. when he was pulled over for allegedly having an illegal rear mar-ker

Louis claimed he had his paperwork in the trunk of the car, according to police, but when he went to retrieve it, officers said they spotted marijuana in plain view inside the car. A search of Louis and the car revealed one ounce of marijuana, cops said.

Louis, who has four prior drugrelated arrests, was arrested and charged with possession of greater than a half-ounce of marijuana and having an improper rear marker. He was held on a $5,000 bond, and was given a court date of July 23.
