Nov. 4, 1931 – Oct. 21, 2017

Natalie Louise Hahn passed away sud­denly on Oc­to­ber 21, 2017, at the age of 85. She was born and raised in Glouces­ter, Mas­sachusetts to Wal­ter and Agnes Thurston. She mar­ried as a young woman and moved to the Los An­ge­les area, then Modesto, and then on to Oak­dale in 1975. In that same year she mar­ried Leroy (Bud) Hahn. They were hap­pily mar­ried one month short of 42 years.

Natalie worked as a book­keeper for most of her life un­til she re­tired in 1995. She en­joyed gardening, play­ing games, quilt­ing and knitting. She was ac­tive in yoga and walk­ing with her friends un­til a stroke lim­ited her mo­bil­ity in 2009. She loved the Gi­ants and 49ers.

Natalie is sur­vived by her hus­band Bud; sis­ter, Alice Bren­nan; niece, Katie Pavalasky; eight chil­dren, Su­san, An­nie, Steve, Mark, and Ken – all Ma­cys; Jay, Lynn and Mike – all Hahns; as well as, 18 grand­chil­dren and 12 great-grand­chil­dren.

May 30, 1990 –

Oct. 21, 2017 Eric was born in Modesto May 30, 1990, and passed away peace­fully at his home in Oak­dale, Oct. 21, 2017.

Eric had a heart of gold, he will be re­mem­bered by his good-na­ture and peace­ful de­meanor. Eric was a foot­ball fan, as well as a foot­ball player and grad­u­ate of Beyer High School. He en­joyed mu­sic of all dif­fer­ent types, be­ing with friends and fam­ily, en­joy­ing the great out­doors, and hav­ing a good time.

Eric is sur­vived by his fa­ther, Michael Peter­son; grand­mother, Gayle Bjorge; un­cle, Gary Peter­son; cousins, Gre­gory Dorhan, Zachary Peter­son, and Am­ber Red­ding. Grand­par­ents, Donna (Richard) John­ston; mother, Tina Navjokaitis; sis­ters, Heather and Sadie; brother, Justiin; aunt and un­cles, Balinda (Steve) Dack, and Allen Navjokaitis.

Eric is pre­ceded in death by his grand­fa­ther, Ralph Arnold Peter­son.

A cel­e­bra­tion of life will be held at The United Methodist Church, in Oak­dale: Satur­day, Nov. 4th at 11:00 a.m.

April 23, 1935 – Oct. 27, 2017

Tony Me­d­ina passed away Oc­to­ber 27, 2017. He was born April 23, 1935 to John Me­d­ina and Frances Por­tillo Me­d­ina.

Tony loved peo­ple, and his car­ing ways al­ways main­tained a nat­u­ral in­stinct and thought­ful de­sire to help oth­ers. Over his life­time, he helped nu­mer­ous peo­ple through chal­leng­ing times.

His fa­vorite gift was his spir­i­tual faith with Je­sus and he trea­sured his church fam­ily at Trin­ity Lutheran Church in Ge­orge­town, CA. Tony was very pas­sion­ate about his work, whether it was his wa­ter Con­struc­tion job with Du­tra, from 1979 to the present, or work­ing at land­scap­ing his own gar­den, cook­ing or host­ing par­ties. His fond­est hobby was avi­a­tion and he loved shar­ing his sto­ries and ex­pe­ri­ences about fly­ing his Cessna 172 air­plane.

When Tony was young, he served in the Cal­i­for­nia Na­tional Guard and has al­ways held a great love for our great coun­try.

Tony is sur­vived by his wife, Syd­ney Me­d­ina; sis­ter, Car­men Me­d­ina Dalke; sis­ter-in-laws, Mary Me­d­ina and Norma Me­d­ina; and nu­mer­ous nieces, neph­ews and cousins.

Tony is pre­ceded in death by his par­ents; sis­ter, Josephine Me­d­ina Ship­man; brothers, Daniel Me­d­ina, Oliver Me­d­ina, Bill Me­d­ina, John Me­d­ina and Ge­orge Me­d­ina.

We grieve the pass­ing of such a spe­cial man and are in­spired by his Life.

Fu­neral Ser­vice will be held at Trin­ity Lutheran Church, 6417 Main St, Ge­orge­town, CA on Fri­day, Novem­ber 3, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. A Fel­low­ship will fol­low the ser­vice.

A Grave­side ser­vice will be at Oak­dale Cit­i­zens Ceme­tery, 701 East J Street, Oak­dale CA, on Satur­day, Novem­ber 4, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. A me­mo­rial lun­cheon will be hosted at the Ship­man Fam­ily in Oak­dale, fol­low­ing the Grave­side.
