Dodgers blanked in Ker­shaw’s start

Ter­rance Gore tripled and sin­gled, and Jake Kal­ish al­lowed just five hits over seven in­nings as the Omaha Storm Chasers topped the Ok­la­homa City Dodgers 4-0 on Satur­day.

Los An­ge­les Dodgers ace Clay­ton Ker­shaw, on an in­jury re­hab as­sign­ment, went five in­nings, al­low­ing one run and two hits while strik­ing out eight in the Pa­cific Coast League game.

Kal­ish struck out eight and walked two to pick up the win.

In the top of the second, Omaha grabbed the lead on a solo home run by Jorge Soler. The Storm Chasers then added a run in the sixth and two in the eighth. In the sixth, Ra­mon Tor­res hit a sac­ri­fice fly, scor­ing Gore, while Billy Burns and Tor­res both drove in a run in the eighth.

The Dodgers were held off the score­board for the eighth time this sea­son, while the Storm Chasers' staff recorded their eighth shutout of the year.
