Pre­sen­ta­tion to cover bul­ly­ing

In­te­gris will host a pre­sen­ta­tion in Span­ish about bul­ly­ing as part of its His­panic Ini­tia­tive at 6:30 p.m. Tues­day at South­west Med­i­cal Cen­ter, 4200 S Dou­glas Ave. The pre­sen­ta­tion will in­clude warn­ing signs of bul­ly­ing, and how to help vic­tims and bul­lies.

Par­ents of ad­dicted chil­dren meet

The Ed­mond chap­ter of Par­ents Help­ing Par­ents, a group for peo­ple cop­ing with a child’s ad­dic­tion, will meet at McLaren’s Pantry, 3414 S Boule­vard, at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 5. The group rented the restau­rant so at­ten­dees could re­main anony­mous. For more in­for­ma­tion, call 642-8198.

Hospi­tal gets new ex­ec­u­tive

Mercy Hospi­tal Ok­la­homa City has hired David Ar­gueta as its new chief ad­min­is­tra­tive of­fi­cer. Ar­gueta pre­vi­ously served as pres­i­dent of three Catholic Health Ini­tia­tive hos­pi­tals in Texas. He also pre­vi­ously worked as chief op­er­at­ing of­fi­cer of CHI St. Luke’s Hospi­tal, which has mul­ti­ple cam­puses in Texas, and as vice pres­i­dent of op­er­a­tions at Bay­lor Scott & White Hill­crest in Waco, Texas.
