Aooogah. Model A’s ride again!
Ford Model A enthusiasts celebrated the 50th anniversary of their club.
Members of the Sooner Model A Club gathered Saturday at Bethany’s Ripper Park for a picnic and to show off their vintage vehicles, which were first built in 1927.
There were 43 of the cars at the gathering.
Club members concluded their anniversary celebration with a cruise of Lake Overholser.

Model A Fords cross the Lake Overholser Bridge on Route 66 after the Sooner Model A Club’s picnic to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the club, at Ripper Park in Bethany on Saturday. Past club president William Langford said that 43 cars attended the gathering. Saturday was also International Model A Ford Day.
