Ford Model A en­thu­si­asts cel­e­brated the 50th an­niver­sary of their club.

Mem­bers of the Sooner Model A Club gath­ered Satur­day at Bethany’s Rip­per Park for a pic­nic and to show off their vin­tage ve­hi­cles, which were first built in 1927.

There were 43 of the cars at the gath­er­ing.

Club mem­bers con­cluded their an­niver­sary cel­e­bra­tion with a cruise of Lake Over­holser.

Past club pres­i­dent Wil­liam Lang­ford said that 43 cars at­tended the gath­er­ing. Satur­day was also In­ter­na­tional Model A Ford Day.
