Fowler in 3-way tie for lead in Mex­ico

For­mer Ok­la­homa State stand­out Rickie Fowler saved par from a bunker on his fi­nal hole for a 4-un­der 67 and a three-way share of the lead after 36 holes of the rain-de­layed OHL Clas­sic at Mayakoba on Satur­day.

Pa­trick Rodgers made his first bo­gey of the tour­na­ment on his 35th hole Satur­day at El Ca­ma­leon Golf Club. He wound up with a 65 and was tied for the lead with Fowler and

Pat­ton Kizzire, who fin­ished his 70 on Fri­day.

They were at 10-un­der 132. The sec­ond round, de­layed by rain Fri­day, did not re­sume un­til 1 p.m. be­cause of more bad weather.

Fowler is play­ing for the first time since the Pres­i­dents Cup on Oct. 1.

Chiefs DT Miller ar­rested on bat­tery charge

Kansas City Chiefs de­fen­sive tackle Roy Miller was ar­rested early Satur­day in Florida on a do­mes­tic bat­tery charge, ac­cord­ing to Du­val County jail records.

Miller was jailed shortly be­fore 5 a.m. by the Jack­sonville Sher­iff's Of­fice. The in­ci­dent in­volved a mi­nor in­jury, but no other de­tails were avail­able about the al­leged bat­tery.

Lo­cal news out­lets re­ported that Miller was re­leased on his own re­cog­ni­zance after an ini­tial court ap­pear­ance Satur­day. An­other hear­ing was set for Nov. 28.

The 30-year-old Miller, who was drafted out of Texas by the Tampa Bay Buc­ca­neers, spent the past four sea­sons with the Jack­sonville Jaguars. Miller signed a $1.4 mil­lion deal with Kansas City this past off­sea­son.

Jets pro­mote JoJo Nat­son from prac­tice squad

The New York Jets have pro­moted wide re­ceiver­punt re­turner JoJo Nat­son from the prac­tice squad. He'll likely be ac­tive Sun­day against the Tampa Bay Buc­ca­neers.

The Jets also an­nounced Satur­day that they have waived/in­jured de­fen­sive line­man Ed Stin­son and signed cor­ner­back Michael

Hunter to the prac­tice squad.

The speedy, 5-foot-7 Nat­son will help re­place

Jeremy Ker­ley, the Jets' pri­mary punt re­turner who was sus­pended four games for vi­o­lat­ing the NFL's pol­icy on per­for­mance en­hancers.
