FBI seeks rob­ber of Ponca City bank

PONCA CITY — A man who robbed a Ponca City bank is now be­ing sought by the FBI.

About 3:05 p.m. Fri­day, the man en­tered RCB Bank, 1223 E High­land Ave., and handed a teller a note de­mand­ing money. The rob­ber was last seen flee­ing the bank in a red Buick, ac­cord­ing to an FBI news re­lease.

The man is de­scribed as a white, about 6 feet, 4 inches tall and skinny. He is thought to be in his late 40s or early 50s. He was last seen wear­ing black cov­er­alls with a gray hooded-sweat­shirt un­der­neath, a cam­ou­flage hat and dark sun­glasses.

The Ok­la­homa Bankers As­so­ci­a­tion of­fers a re­ward of up to $2,000 for in­for­ma­tion lead­ing to the ar­rest and con­vic­tion of any­one re­spon­si­ble for rob­bing a mem­ber bank.

Any­one who rec­og­nizes the rob­ber or has in­for­ma­tion about the rob­bery is asked to call the FBI at 290-7770.
