Humored by Keating
I almost find it funny that former Gov. Frank Keating is castigating fellow politicians for failing to do their duty. He’s the same guy who in 2001 came into my living room via television, looked me in the eye and promised that if I voted for right to work
I’d get a $30-a-week pay increase. I haven’t seen a dime from his promise. It’s not surprising that Keating is siding with his former bosses and their efforts to prompt their current underlings at NE 23 and Lincoln to get things done. They want to tax those with the least, make a token effort to tax themselves and sweep this whole mess under the rug. Disruption is bad for business. Throw the little people a bone and keep the business profits rolling.
