•LO­CA­TION: The refuge is about 30 min­utes north­west of Law­ton

•SIZE: Ap­prox­i­mately 59,020 acres

•THINGS TO DO: Hik­ing, camp­ing, fish­ing, wildlife watch­ing, out­door pho­tog­ra­phy and pic­nic ar­eas. Hunt­ing is only al­lowed through con­trolled hunts.

Only one road be­hind Mount Scott is open for moun­tain bik­ing.

•WILDLIFE: In ad­di­tion to elk, a herd of about 550 bi­son and 300 longhorn cat­tle re­side on the refuge.
