The an­nual McLoud Blackberry Fes­ti­val, which be­gan in the 1940s as a way to cel­e­brate the end of blackberry har­vest sea­son, cel­e­brated more than 70 years dur­ing its two-day run in Vet­er­ans Park with plenty of ac­tiv­i­ties for adults and chil­dren, in­clud­ing a pageant, a car show, car­ni­val and fire­works.
