Rose State plans open house for high school­ers

Rose State Col­lege will wel­come high school juniors and se­niors and their par­ents to Col­lege Kick­start, an open house from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 9 on the cam­pus mall.

Po­ten­tial stu­dents can learn more about Rose State Col­lege and the 60-plus de­gree pro­grams it of­fers. Stu­dents and their par­ents can tour the cam­pus, meet pro­fes­sors and get in­for­ma­tion on ad­mis­sions, fi­nan­cial aid, schol­ar­ships and more.

The event will in­clude a food truck, mu­sic, games and other ac­tiv­i­ties to give po­ten­tial stu­dents an idea of what cam­pus life is like at Rose State, Pres­i­dent Jeanie Webb said.
