Man shot, killed at SE OKC flea market
A physical altercation turned deadly Saturday at a southeast Oklahoma City flea market, police said.
Just after 2:05 p.m., police responded to the 4700 block of S Bryant Avenue where a man was reportedly wounded inside the flea market.
Oklahoma City police Lt. Jeff Spruill said a fight between two men escalated when one man pulled out a gun and shot and killed the other man.
Spruill said both men had some connection with the business, and that they were either employees or vendors. Their names were not released.
The shooter was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries he suffered in the fight. The injuries were not considered lifethreatening, Spruill said.
Investigators still were gathering details from witnesses about the incident and Spruill was unsure if the man would be arrested.
