Man shot, killed at SE OKC flea mar­ket

A phys­i­cal al­ter­ca­tion turned deadly Sat­ur­day at a south­east Ok­la­homa City flea mar­ket, po­lice said.

Just af­ter 2:05 p.m., po­lice re­sponded to the 4700 block of S Bryant Av­enue where a man was re­port­edly wounded in­side the flea mar­ket.

Ok­la­homa City po­lice Lt. Jeff Spruill said a fight be­tween two men es­ca­lated when one man pulled out a gun and shot and killed the other man.

Spruill said both men had some con­nec­tion with the busi­ness, and that they were ei­ther em­ploy­ees or ven­dors. Their names were not re­leased.

The shooter was taken to a hos­pi­tal to be treated for in­juries he suf­fered in the fight. The in­juries were not con­sid­ered lifethreat­en­ing, Spruill said.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors still were gath­er­ing de­tails from wit­nesses about the in­ci­dent and Spruill was un­sure if the man would be ar­rested.
