SQ 793 worth supporting

The Oklahoman (Sunday) - - OPINION -

Vision correction is not affordable for thousands of Oklahomans. Individuals and families with no or inadequate employee health insurance many times must do without vision correction. State Question 793 does not limit where you choose to purchase your eyeglasses or contact lenses. It does not mandate which optometrist or ophthalmologist you choose for yourself or child. Voting yes on 793 gives Oklahoma residents the same option as neighboring states, to choose whatever vision correction care they can afford, and can still be seen by a licensed physician of their choice. The option for many Oklahomans is to do without needed vision correction. Voting for SQ 793 will allow more options to select the most affordable vision correction, no matter your family’s financial circumstance.
