Museum to host saloon-style event
Set in an Old West saloon atmosphere, The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum will host “Ante Up!,” a casual evening of games of chance like poker, blackjack and roulette, and live musical entertainment. The evening also will feature a full bar, craft beers and three separate food stations.
The event begins at 6 p.m. Nov. 29.
“We’re thrilled to offer this opportunity for guests to enjoy an evening in the Old West while supporting a wonderful cause: the Museum’s public education programs,” museum President and CEO Natalie Shirley said. “Ante Up! gives patrons the chance to spend time in one of the most iconic settings of the Old West — the saloon — while gaming, eating, drinking and taking in some great music.”
Ante Up! casino games will pay out with an array of prizes — the more patrons “go in,” the more prizes they can win. Dress is Western casual. For more information or to purchase tickets, contact Kaylia McCracken, events coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 478-2250 ext. 218.
Nationally accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum is only six miles northeast of downtown Oklahoma City in the Adventure District at the junction of Interstates 44 and 35. For more information, go to nationalcowboy museum.org.
