Mu­seum to host saloon-style event

Set in an Old West saloon at­mos­phere, The Na­tional Cow­boy & West­ern Her­itage Mu­seum will host “Ante Up!,” a ca­sual evening of games of chance like poker, black­jack and roulette, and live mu­si­cal en­ter­tain­ment. The evening also will fea­ture a full bar, craft beers and three sep­a­rate food sta­tions.

The event be­gins at 6 p.m. Nov. 29.

“We’re thrilled to of­fer this op­por­tu­nity for guests to en­joy an evening in the Old West while sup­port­ing a won­der­ful cause: the Mu­seum’s pub­lic ed­u­ca­tion pro­grams,” mu­seum Pres­i­dent and CEO Natalie Shirley said. “Ante Up! gives pa­trons the chance to spend time in one of the most iconic set­tings of the Old West — the saloon — while gam­ing, eat­ing, drink­ing and tak­ing in some great mu­sic.”

Ante Up! casino games will pay out with an ar­ray of prizes — the more pa­trons “go in,” the more prizes they can win. Dress is West­ern ca­sual.
