NAME RELEASED OF GIRL WHO DIED AFTER DAY CARE INCIDENT
The state medical examiner’s office released the name of an infant who died Sunday in connection with a child abuse complaint lodged against the owner of a Noble day care center.
Braelyn Zachary, 5 months old, was taken to a Tulsa hospital and placed on life support after she was found unresponsive July 19 at a home day care in Noble, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
Melissa Clark, 45, was arrested Friday on a child abuse complaint. The Department of Human Services closed the day care center.
The medical examiner’s office has not released the cause of death.
